Greenwashed
Only limitations for this project was to create an exhibition design within 5 to 10 shipping containers. This project was proposed to us by using examples of homes people have created out of shipping containers. Many say this is an Eco friendly way to use abandoned shipping containers, but is it really? Though extensive research on both sides of the subject I used it to create an informative exhibition on the life of shipping containers. Is it a truly sustainable and innovative use of abandoned materials? Or is the whole thing just a chemical filled inefficient stack of unstable boxes?
